“Most artists say they have drawn and painted or been creative in some way for as long as they can remember. I guess I’m no different in that respect. I have always had this deep appreciation for nature and wildlife and I try to reflect that in my work. As I look around, my mind wanders and so does my painting. I try not to limit myself to any one subject to paint. I enjoy the challenge of painting whatever captures my interest and emotion. Even though my paintings are realistic, I like leaving some elements unclear and to the imagination. Perhaps some new image will evolve in them later…”
